Kurt should be better able to reply, since he drove the registry work. As long as they support JAX-R, we could do that now I suppose. We have had the notion of a federated registry in the original architecture, that I'd like to get implemented eventually. Plus local cached/persisted copies of information, e.g., a flat file version of JAX-R with a minimal footprint.
