EJBTHREE-785 in trunk will now allow for scanning of @Local and @Remote in the superclasses of Bean Implementation classes.  There is currently one test failing with regards to dependencies of these superclassed EJBs; see notes in JIRA.

EJBTHREE-786 will require some more discussion before I can properly fix, had misread the spec while initially evaluating.

I'll be looking to address both of these issues on Wednesday.
