We could add

  | value = typeInfo.convert(value)
  | 
right after we fully determine typeInfo to either DefaultMetaValueFactory or just to ServiceMetaDataICF.

Just tested addition to DefaultMetaValueFactory and the tests pass.

OK to commit it there?
