repository.jboss.org is just for releases.  Any snapshot releases should go to snapshots.jboss.org, and if you have a -SNAPSHOT version specified in the pom, it will deploy to the snapshot repo automatically.

Also, the AS build will pick up the latest snapshot version from snapshots.jboss.org as long as the dependency version has -SNAPSHOT.
