I'll go ahead and hack together the initial schema metadata for persistence.xml in our metadata project.
If not for anything else, to get the persistence.xml handling of the Hibernate code.
I'll put the stuff in org.jboss.metadata.jpa.spec package.

Which are some of the handy classes that are useful to extend?
For possible merging afterwards, or some other hacks. :-)
