Brian, did you ever have a play around with the MarshalledValue stuff I put in to JBC 2.1.0 as a potential replacement for using marshalling regions?  

In relation to redesigning eviction and region interfaces, I wonder whether marshalling and classloader information should belong in Region definitions anymore, if MarshalledValues are a viable replacement.
