I'm experiencing exactly the same problem, building libjobossInspector.so from jboss-profiler-1.0.CR4.zip on 64 bit RHEL5, kernel 2.6.18-92.1.13.el5.
Is there any solution/workaround?

By the way, if I try to execute:
gunzip serverspy_17784_thread_1228127786099_0_1.log.gz
I get:
gunzip: serverspy_17784_thread_1228127786099_0_1.log.gz: invalid compressed data--crc error

Could it be a problem with zlib?
