>From the error message (after the null problem)
you are just passing MarkDS-ds.xml as the deployment name
rather than vfsfile:/C:/JBossServers/jboss-5.0.0.CR1/server/default/deploy/MarkDS-ds.xml 
(or whatever it is called) to the ManagedObject stuff.
