I doubt it will help with the problem above, but it cannot hurt. :-)

Perhaps you can use DeploymentUnit::getResourceClassLoader while the _real_ ClassLoader is not yet resolved?
But make sure this usage is legit, not actually a hack while doing deployers in a wrong way. ;-)
