I installed Subversion 1.5.5 for Win and I run the following command:

svn co https://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/jbpm/jbpm4/trunk jbpm4

(the last parameter is the destination dir)

 if you have a proxy you should configure it ... I found the "servers" file in the dir "Application Data\Subversion"
