This user forum post http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=152041 suggested that support for URLs for the InXsd and OutXsd be added:

This sounds like a good idea to me but I wanted to check if there was a reason for not doing when first implemented? 
If not let me know and I'll create a jira for this.
