Hi,

I think if jgroups 2.8 no longer supports its old API then I think it's the best time to update JBM to hornetq.

JBM 1.4 is in maintenance mode. It's important to keep it compatible with existing users who is still using jgroups prior to 2.8.

This is only my personal opinion.
