I've committed  https://jira.jboss.org/browse/EJBTHREE-2126 https://jira.jboss.org/browse/EJBTHREE-2126 which brings BusinessObjectFactory as a plug-point.
This can now be overriden within AS with a factory that handles no-interface view.
