>From your stack trace I think it looks like you're trying to use it from inside the AS? I've only tried it from a JVM which is outside the AS.

I've not touched EJB 3 for a while but it looks like you're using CMT? That is not supported in EE 6 web profile/EJB 3.1 Lite. AS 7.1. coming later this year will support full EE6/EJB 3.1
