Sorry you're just gone, I was going to ask you to try with the latest AS trunk/master. Richard changed the WSDependenciesProcessor recently and the check on the deployment type (ws or not) is moved out of that processor; moreover a list of annotation indexes is not considered, see  https://github.com/jbossas/jboss-as/blob/master/webservices/server-integration/src/main/java/org/jboss/as/webservices/util/ASHelper.java#L325 https://github.com/jbossas/jboss-as/blob/master/webservices/server-integration/src/main/java/org/jboss/as/webservices/util/ASHelper.java#L325 . I think that's probably the same as what Jaikiran is saying about the composite index, but I'm leaving this to Richard to check / confirm.
