For AS7 it's git. Earlier versions till AS6 (which is currently is latest released version) was in SVN. The next release of AS6 is planned to be 6.1.0  http://community.jboss.org/docs/DOC-16334 http://community.jboss.org/wiki/AS601StatusExecutiveSummary but currently the major development is happening in AS7.
