In AS6, we have an snmp-adaptor that let's the user query JMX attributes using SNMP; recently I've been working on an update of this adaptor that works with the SNMPv3 spec. However, I'm not sure what will need to be done to make it AS7 compatible. It would be nice to have this functionality in because there are customers who rely on SNMP for their management stuff  :)
