We have had probvlems to start JBOSS-7 at all using JDK1.7.0_04, but thanks to  https://community.jboss.org/people/ctomc https://community.jboss.org/people/ctomc we tried with JDK 1.6.
Now the applserver starts faster, but the naming exception remains.
