Object ref = jndiContext.lookup( "ejb:/MtzWebComm//CommEJB!de.miditec.communication.ejb.CommEJBHome");
CommEJBHome commEJBHome = (CommEJBHome) PortableRemoteObject.narrow(ref, CommEJBHome.class);

CommEJB commEJB = commEJBHome.create(1);

System.out.println( commEJB.getHello() );
commEJB.remove();

So, it's similar to your code.
