There are a couple of typos in there. What Darran meant was:

remote.connection.default.connect.options.org.xnio.Options.SASL_DISALLOWED_MECHANISMS=JBOSS-LOCAL-USER
remote.connection.default.connect.options.org.xnio.Options.SASL_POLICY_NOPLAINTEXT=false

(Notice the connection name is "default" and not "two").
