This is a open question that can have long response.
Normally, our colleagues from Architect department are specialized to provide you help to make your assesment.

>From a technical perspective, I think that the most key part if about the existing .NET elements and the effort to maintain or migrate to a Java environment this technology.

If you tell us in which region we can also to put some colleagues from Architect department in the loop.
