For JTA distributed over WS-AT, it is a known and documented issue. I've now created a Jira for it here  https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBTM-1688 https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBTM-1688

Tom knows more about the distributed JTA issue than I do. I'll discuss it with him when he returns next week.
