I always ignore FAQs.

If people can't be bothered to read the most basic documentation, 
they get what they deserve (silence!).

In anycase, a major release is the time to make 
non-transparent changes (hopefully for the better).
You certainly can't identify configs that need updating
with an unzip command. :-)
