If you have any specific ideas, could you create a JIRA issue?

As you know, having written them, we have 
EncryptingMarshaller/EncryptingUnMarshaller, and the chained 
marshaller/unmarshaller facility should allow increased flexibility.  Do 
you have anything else in mind?
