After an update and clean build today, its only about 8-10s slower for 
the default config than it has been:

07:02:20,100 INFO  [ServerImpl] JBoss (Microcontainer) [5.0.0.GA (build: 
SVNTag=JBoss_5_0_0_GA date=200810170647)] Started in 41s:670ms
07:03:59,002 INFO  [ServerImpl] JBoss (Microcontainer) [5.0.0.GA (build: 
SVNTag=JBoss_5_0_0_GA date=200810170647)] Started in 36s:514ms
07:05:25,567 INFO  [ServerImpl] JBoss (Microcontainer) [5.0.0.GA (build: 
SVNTag=JBoss_5_0_0_GA date=200810170647)] Started in 35s:829ms
