I've created the tag https://svn.jboss.org/repos/jbossas/tags/JBoss_5_0_0_CR2/, and I'll be 
working there to complete the release notes for CR2:

Meanwhile, AS trunk is unfrozen so you can start working towards GA.

Please be cautious about what you commit. We want to keep the changes from CR2 -> GA to
