Yes it does, it does weird things like this (from your compile):

[INFO] snapshot org.jboss.jbossas:jboss-as-server:6.0.0-SNAPSHOT:

14K downloaded  (jboss-as-server-6.0.0-20100127.102409-641.pom)

Something is fishy here.
