You don't need the ScanningMetaData code anymore

      ScanningMetaData scanningMetaData = unit.getAttachment(ScanningMetaData.class);
      for (VirtualFile path : classpath)
      {
         if (scanningMetaData == null 
               || !(scanningMetaData.getPaths() == null 
                     || !scanningMetaData.getPaths().contains(path.getName())))
         {

as this is all already taken care of in new ScanningDeployer.
