This issue also causes trouble in SEAM deployments running on Tomcat. As long as this is not taken care of, al SEAM/Tomcat users are stuck with the "could not register for synchronization"-bug described in EJBTHREE-540 AND EJBTHREE-584. So please, please - fix it.
