org.jboss.soa.esb.actions.ActionUtil class has getter and setter utilities for the current object.  However, they're named in a somewhat unstandard manner - "currentFromMessage" and "putCurrentObject".  I'd think these should be simply named "getCurrentObject" and "setCurrentObject" respectfully.
