Jonathan Halliday commented on JBTM-136:
----------------------------------------

Based on the 4.2.1 GA release, the windows services wrapper fails (on XP Pro, sp2) due to missing classes. However, as it's an older version of the wrapper, it does not report this error clearly. I suggest we move to the current version of the wrapper for the next release (4.4) in order to benefit from the improvements, including better diagnostics.

As regards the missing classes, the build scripts (as of svn trunk at 2006-10-23) compile these but appear not to copy them to the install bundle correctly. Resolution in progress.

Also, the documentation does not clearly indicate the need to tweak the services/config/*.conf files to reflect the install location. This used to be done automatically by the installer, but is now a manual step. Requires update to the install guide.
