Jonathan Halliday commented on JBTM-98:
---------------------------------------

The test case is based on the Oracle sample code from e.g. http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/A87860_01/doc/java.817/a83724/samapp9.htm#1012235 Using this code as a starting point, you can alter the size of the byte arrays used in the Xid. The test continues to pass even with arrays shorter than 64 bytes. This would tend to indicate the problem lies elsewhere. If you have an alternative test case that contradicts this, please submit it. It's possible the problem you are seeing is elsewhere in the code and is masked or avoided as a result of altering the array sizes.
