Joe Son commented on JBRULES-1081:
----------------------------------
Hey Guys, you can close this particular bug.
This was all configuration.
If anyone is trying to run this and having issues, please make sure all your batch files are pointing to correct java home. In Window's env, you may want to create secondary env and point it to JDK1.5.
Other issues with Standalone I've come across was client side javascript error and logout redirect issues.
Not sure if these are configuration or not.
thank you.

> Issue Type: Bug
> Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
> Components: drools-brms
> Environment: Standard version of BRMS
> Reporter: Joe Son
> Assigned To: Fernando Meyer
>
> I've downloaded the BRMS standalone and got the Apache server up and running. I have not changed any default values and left it as is.
> I wanted to get the feel for how the system works first. However, When I try to create new DRL or open existing example drl, I get the following error:
> javax.jcr.RepositoryException: failed to retrieve item state of item 1527c3bc-9bc9-4673-af2c-8c05755d7482/{http://www.jboss.org/drools-repository/1.0}binaryContent: failed to read property state: 1527c3bc-9bc9-4673-af2c-8c05755d7482/{http://www.jboss.org/drools-repository/1.0}binaryContent: failed to read property state: 1527c3bc-9bc9-4673-af2c-8c05755d7482/{http://www.jboss.org/drools-repository/1.0}binaryContent
> It seems like the issue stems from Repository but I can't find any other documentation online about these types of issues.
> It created a "Repository" directory under bin as a default. Did not change any values on repository.xml.
> Any help would be great. =)
