Eclipse DRL editor unusable on dark background
----------------------------------------------

                 Key: JBRULES-1108
                 URL: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBRULES-1108
             Project: JBoss Rules
          Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Everyone can see)
          Components: Eclipse IDE
    Affects Versions: 4.0.0.GA
         Environment: Eclipse 3.3.0
            Reporter: Luke Maurer
         Assigned To: Mark Proctor

Having a dark background color for editors in Eclipse makes the default DRL syntax highlighting unusable (as is the case with most Eclipse editors). Unfortunately, the editor's syntax highlighting can be neither changed nor disabled, so the DRL editor is completely unusable for me. While fully customizable syntax highlighting would be the best, simply being able to disable it entirely (and use Eclipse's default text color, which I of course have set to white) would be a perfectly good workaround.

I set the background color to black in Preferences -> General -> Editors -> Text Editors -> Background color, and the foreground color to white on the same page.

(Of course, this is really Eclipse's fault for forcing every single editor to have its very own ad-hoc syntax highlighting configuration system ... but I'd better not get started :-) )
