We should also put the buddy setup information into the JGroups channel (Channel.setInfo()), to that "probe -query info" returns this information from all members in a cluster. The JIRA for this is http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JGRP-650 (JGroups 2.7 and 2.6)
