This is most likely because all the messages are buffered in the client buffers of the pool of MDBs you are using, so not available to page.

If you don't want to prefetch messages (see prefetch in user guide) you can set reduce this value to 1.

Make sure you're using 1.4.0.SP3 - we streamlined prefetching somewhat in that release.
