The reason why we never went to Scout v1.0 stream is the dependence on xmlbeans (do not ask me why - just think it as Apache democracy). We stick to Scout v0.7 as it is tck certified with both Java EE 1.4 and 1.5

Once Kurt gets the separation cleared out, we can start using v1.0 of scout.
