Dimitris, I have been heavily involved with the ESB work over the last few weeks but will put some time aside this afternoon to make the changes.  We should be able to get another CR to you shortly.

Making these write only was a deliberate decision though as the modifications will not necessarily apply once the transaction manager has been initialised.

I will update this task once the work is complete.
