The TM issue is now closed.

Jonathan is preparing to push a new snapshot up to the repository, we will let you know once this has been completed.

As for JBAS-4079, this is a different issue.  The setTransactionTimeout method of the TransactionManager is used to change the default timeout associated with the current thread and not the global default.  JBossTS does support this.
