Tom Elrod commented on JBREM-642:
----------------------------------
Have changed the creating of the socket to create void socket, set the reuse address, then connect the socket. The connection of the socket also includes timeout where can do so (i.e. micro socket client invoker can't have timeout). This means that timeout property is not only for read timeout but for connection timeout as well.

> For Socket.setReuseAddress() to do anything it needs to be invoked before the socket is bound. Creating a socket with new Socket(host, port) automatically binds it, so there is no way to do it
> protected Socket createSocket(String address, int port) throws IOException
> {
> return new Socket(address, port);
> }
> needs to be changed to use the default constructor, invoke setReuseAddress() and then bind().
