Works for me - just tried with 2.0.0.ALPHA2.

1.  Downloaded  JBossCache-all-2.0.0.ALPHA2.zip from SF
2.  Ran ./build.sh compile
3.  Compiled successfully.  :-)

Was this with ALPHA1 that you tried this?
