Thanks for the comments. I like Steve Barfield's suggestions - will look at them for the next update of the BRMS. I think we will need a variety of sources for the lists - the simples way is a GUI which stores it in the package configuration, but I think loading from a DB is also needed, as is "key/description".

Michael (A), I created a new JIRA for from/accumulate: JBRULES-986 I haven't had any time to think more about what it would visually look like, but I do understand (and chuckle) at your point : [Business users thrive on "tediousness" ;-) ]. I do agree, so if it makes sense, we can look at ways to include from/accumulate in a BA friendly way (at the moment it seems to technical to be worth the bother, but if people can come up with some examples and ideas, we can certainly implement it).
