Sometimes reading gadgets list from the catalog (http://www.google.com/ig/directory?synd=jboss&output=rss) ends with 

org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpRecoverableException: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out

Empty read result is then cached so user is unable to reread such gadgets category.
