Ron Sigal commented on JBREM-714:
---------------------------------
Remoting 2.2.0.SP4 passes compatibility tests against Remoting 2.0.0.GA, 1.4.6.GA, 1.4.4.GA, and 1.4.3.GA. The HTTP transport of 2.2.0.SP4 is compatible with 1.4.0.final, but the RMI transport is not. The socket transport of 2.2.0.SP4 is compatible with with 1.4.0.final as long as connection checking is turned on - there is no ability to turn off connection checking in 1.4.0.final.
