Dimitris Andreadis commented on JBAS-4184:
------------------------------------------
This was caused by the cleanup done at JBAS-2249.
I added org.jboss.naming.* classes to jnp-client.jar (and as a result jbossall-client.jar), so that should be solved now.

> Project: JBoss Application Server
> Issue Type: Bug
> Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
> Components: Naming
> Affects Versions: JBossAS-4.2.0.CR1
> Environment: Windows-XP

> Fix For: JBossAS-4.2.0.GA

> Jboss 4.20CR1 doesn't have org.jboss.naming.NamingContextFactory included in jbossall-client.jar. Possible a packaging failure.
> A java client application that for example uses the JndiLoginInitialContextFactory as LoginContext will throw a NoClassDefFoundError for /org/jboss/naming/NamingContextFactory, because JndiLoginInitialContextFactory extends NamingContextFactory.
