When opening up processDefintion.xml created in 3.0.13 with the graphic designer all transtions are not showing up visually

After creating process definitions with the eclipse plugin 3.0.13 and then installing the 3.1 alpha 3 version of the designer plugin you can open up the process definitions, but all the transitions are no longer visable.
