Kris Verlaenen commented on JBRULES-698:
----------------------------------------
It is normal that a completely empty drl generates errors, as they are missing a package name.
The package explorer and error view should not show any errors if they are not there.
Note that the checking for errors is linked to the eclipse build system: if you do not have automatic building turned on, you have to manually build to recheck (and possibly remove old errors).
Could you provide us with a reproducable example that shows this error, as I am unaware of this issue.

> Issue Type: Bug
> Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
> Components: Eclipse IDE
> Affects Versions: 3.0.4, 3.0.5
> Environment: Eclipse 3.2, both Mac OS X and Windows XP

> With the JBoss Rules Eclipse plugin, java projects containing rules (drl-files) mostly show problem markers in the package explorer - suggesting errors. This happens even with empty (!) drl-files, both in DSL and "standard" syntax.
