When running a ClusteredPostOfficeService (version 1.3.0GA) on a mac by default JGroups tries to set the DatagramSocket TOS 8. See http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JGRP-299 and http://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBPAPP-197.

Temporary work around simply involves adding the tos="0" attribute to the Sync and AsyncChannelConfig's JGroups configurations.
