Add an application-level API for locating beans by business interface
----------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: EJBTHREE-980
                 URL: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/EJBTHREE-980
             Project: EJB 3.0
          Issue Type: Feature Request
    Affects Versions: AS 4.2.0 GA, EJB 3.0 RC9 - Patch 1, EJB 3.0 RC9 - FD
         Environment: JBossWeb application
            Reporter: Owen Jacobson

I'm trying to set up an EJB injector interceptor for struts 2, and I don't want to hardcode EJB JNDI names either in the annotations or in a configuration file. Since JBoss is able to determine what JNDI name corresponds to an interface, I would like to be able to get that JNDI name from JBoss within my application or get the corresponding session bean proxy directly.

I am willing to tie my custom interceptor to JBoss and use JBoss-specific tools there.
