Two more features can be useful in here. 
1. The addition of nested tables
2. Sorting of columns
3. Page numbering and navigation to next / previous pages
4. export of the data into SWF, Excel, CSV, PDF, etc...

Like what the displaytag used to do with frameworks like webwork and struts
